CONFIRMATION

At each person’s baptism we hear a lot of promises. We hear promises from scripture and promises from people (usually the parents, sponsors, and the church), but not always from the one receiving baptism.

Confirmation is all about saying “yes!” to your baptism!

At Bethel, we offer Confirmation classes for students in 6th through 8th grade. Students meet on Sunday mornings throughout the school year. We cover a variety of topics important to Christians, including the Ten Commandments, the Apostle’s Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, as well as lessons relevant to living a life of faith in today’s world. Additionally, students serve regularly in worship services as acolytes and in service projects for the church and community.

Classes meet during the school year. We meet Sunday mornings 9:30 – 10:30am

YOUTH GROUP

Bethel’s middle and high school youth groups meet twice a month for fun activities as well as faith formation support and fellowship.

Activities range from fun game nights to community service projects to coffee hour at the local coffee house, devotionals and Bible studies.
